This grand and spacious apartment is on the first floor of Castle House, with some internal stairs leading one around a curious circular route of the apartment.

The fabulous and well- proportioned sitting room/dining room, with comfortable leather sofas, has leaded windows overlooking the castle and across the beautiful Corvedale Valley to the North.
The apartment benefits from a flat screen TV with DVD player and Sky TV (free channels), plus a micro hi-fi system with Dab radio and CD player and Broadband Internet access.
Bedroom 1
Bedroom 1 is generous and well appointed with twin beds, these can be zip-linked to form a king size (if requested in advance), and interesting features including an ornate fireplace and leaded windows (one of which is the tiniest window in the whole house!) forming a bay, with stunning views of the Corvedale.
Bathroom 1
The Beacon Tower bathroom adjoining this bedroom has a free standing roll- topped claw -footed bath and separate walk- in shower… a truly unusual bathroom.

Bedroom 2
Bedroom 2, has twin beds, and overlooks Castle House garden and the castle’s outer bailey.
There is space in Bedroom 2 for one childs bed to be added.
Bathroom 2
The bathroom opposite this bedroom has bath and over- bath shower.
Kitchen
The fully- fitted kitchen is in the centre of the apartment however the interesting roof window lets in natural light. Appliances: Gas hob and electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine/drier, fridge/freezer and all essential utensils.

Prince Arthur & Catherine of Aragon – History
Prince Arthur (1485-1502), the popular elder son of King Henry VII, following a proxy marriage in 1499 to Catherine of Aragon spent four months at Ludlow Castle on his honeymoon before his death on 2 April 1502. Catherine returned to London and some years later married his brother Henry VIII.
